Inspector Hoot is AI-generated and fictional
Inspector Hoot is a fictional cartoon owl. Its images, animation and voice are made with generative AI tools. It is not a real person, detective, police officer or bank employee, and it does not imitate any real person.
- Every case is a fictional dramatization based on real, public scam alerts from official sources (for example DNSC and Poliția Română in Romania, BSI and Verbraucherzentrale in Germany, the FTC and Action Fraud in English-speaking countries).
- Videos carry an "AI-generated" label in the first seconds and use each platform's AI-content label. Profiles and descriptions say the same.
- Scripts are written with AI assistance. Before publication, every video passes automated checks (an official source for each case, the AI label, no real people, no working scam links or numbers). The operator, Fabian Bertea, holds editorial responsibility: sets these rules, personally approves the first videos on every platform, reviews samples, and corrects or removes anything reported as wrong.
- Phone numbers, names, logos and messages shown inside a case are invented or blurred. Never call a number you saw in a video; use the number on your card or the official website.

What we never do
- publish fake reviews or testimonials;
- promise income, savings or the return of lost money;
- offer "money recovery" services or refer you to anyone who does;
- contact you first by private message.
